How Tamba Tamba handles information when you visit tambatamba.com or join the waitlist.

Who we are
“Tamba Tamba,” “we,” and “us” refer to the operator of tambatamba.com. For privacy questions, email hello@tambatamba.com.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist, we collect:
- Your email address
- Whether you have confirmed that address (pending or confirmed)
- Timestamps related to signup and confirmation
- A one-time confirmation token used only to verify your email
- Technical abuse-prevention data: your IP address and browser user-agent at signup
- A short-lived CAPTCHA verification token (Cloudflare Turnstile) checked at signup — we do not use it for advertising
When you create a shop account, we collect:
- Your name
- Your email address
- A secure password hash (we do not store your password in plain text)
- Whether your email is verified
- Your saved cart contents (product ids and quantities)
- Session data needed to keep you signed in
Our hosting and content delivery providers may also process standard technical data needed to serve the site securely.
How we use it
We use waitlist email to:
- Send a verification message so we know the address is yours
- Confirm you on the waitlist after you click the link
- Contact you later about Tamba Tamba opening or related updates
We use IP address and user-agent from waitlist signups to:
- Detect and reduce automated abuse of the waitlist form
- Investigate spam or fraud against the site
We use account data to:
- Create and secure your sign-in
- Save and restore your cart across devices when you are signed in
- Personalize your profile (name) and prepare for future checkout
- Send account verification email
We do not sell your email address. We do not use it for unrelated marketing lists.
Where it is stored
Waitlist records, accounts, sessions, carts, and email are processed using Amazon Web Services (including email delivery). Data is stored in the United States region configured for this service. Sign-in uses an HTTP-only cookie on tambatamba.com.
How long we keep it
Unconfirmed (pending) waitlist entries may expire automatically after a short period if you never verify. Confirmed waitlist addresses are kept so we can notify you when we open, until you ask us to remove them or we no longer need them for that purpose.
Account profiles and saved carts are kept while your account remains open. Sign-in sessions expire after a period of inactivity or when you sign out. You can ask us to delete your account by emailing hello@tambatamba.com.
Sharing
We share data only with service providers that help us run the site and waitlist (such as hosting and email delivery), under obligations to protect it. We may also disclose information if required by law.
Your choices
You can request access to or deletion of your waitlist email by contacting hello@tambatamba.com. If you do not confirm your email, you will not be added as a confirmed subscriber.
Children
The waitlist is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time (for example when we add new products or features). When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date on this page.
